Recommended Order of Training

Time Line

IT Team Strategy Workshop
Hands-on Training
1-3 days depending on knowledge levels of participants and whether this install is new or an upgrade. Other considerations is whether this is the installation team, help desk or train-the-trainers.
10 participants maximum per class

Minimum of one week prior to Pilot Group roll out

Macro and Template Training and Application Design
Hands-on Training
1-2 days, depending on knowledge level and number of participants, whether the installation is an upgrade or a new install and whether there are existing macros that need to be converted vs. recreated. The actual design of applications can take several days to several weeks. This class is a jump start to that end.
10 participants maximum per class

An alternative to training your users is to have us design your macros and templates, in conjunction with input from your users.

Recommend starting at least one month prior to end user roll out, to be completed prior to pilot group (if applicable) or end user training

Pilot Group
Hands-on Training
2-4 days, depending on knowledge levels of participants, upgrade or new install
10 participants maximum per class

Could be conducted back to back with Macro and Template training

End User Training
Hands-on Training
One half day to several days depending on several elements. The current knowledge level of users and the level at which they must be productive, industry type (law firms are usually more time), and whether macros and templates are in place. Other important considerations include when (if ever) these users had formal training, whether the implementation is an upgrade or a new install and if it's an upgrade, how many jumps were made between the versions.
10 participants maximum per class

Roll out WordPerfect to end users

On-site Coaching
Approximately 1 day per 15-20 people trained
